LEXER

Privacy policy

Last updated 7 October 2026

This policy explains what Lexer ("we") collects when you subscribe to the newsletter at lexer.news, and what we do with it. Questions: ahmed.moghazy@lexer.news.

What we collect

  • Your email address and your subscription status (pending, confirmed, paused, unsubscribed).
  • Your preferences, if you change them on the preferences page.
  • Signup records: the time of each signup attempt and the IP address it came from, used only to stop abuse and rate-limit repeated attempts.
  • Email events reported by our email provider, such as delivered, bounced, opened or clicked, used to keep the list healthy and improve the newsletter.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.

Who processes it

  • Supabase stores subscriber data.
  • Resend sends the emails.
  • Vercel hosts the website.

These providers process data on our behalf and only for running the service.

How long we keep it

We keep your email while you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record that you unsubscribed so we never email you again by mistake. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.

Your choices

  • Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
  • You can change your preferences from the link in any issue.
  • To access, correct or delete your data, email ahmed.moghazy@lexer.news.

Age

Lexer is intended for readers aged 18 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and tell subscribers in an issue.
